Had this in Mid Valley Gardens. Price is high but the food is just average. Not many choices to choose from. When the waiter comes over to our table and asked if we want to add on any more dim sums, I requested for Lao Sa Pau, Lai Yao Pau and Siew Loong Pau. Then the waitress stared at me blankly, and said 'Sorry, we don't have those.'
Now it's my turn to stare at her blankly. "Just siu maai and ha gaau then?"

Had Dim Sum for breakfast one Saturday morning at Hong Kee Restaurant located at Damansara Jaya near Atria Mall. Packed with people as usual but this restaurant runs in a very systematic & organize way so it wasn't much a hassle. I'll give both thumbs and toes up for food and services :)

Last Saturday, after the badminton session in the morning, me and my friends went out to have dim sum in PJ. I've forgotten what's the name of the shop but it's crowded and the dim sums were good. There were a lot of choices, and it's not expensive. After that, I went home to take a shower, and then sleep to get energized for the night's outing.

At 8pm drove out to meet up with the others. Went to a Japanese restaurant in K.L.

Here's the Unagi Bentou Set with unagi with unagi's sweet sauce; raw salmon & tuna; miso soup; tofu; salad; chawanmushi; pickles & lime to go along with the steamed rice; and soy sauce & wasabi as a dipping for the raws; not to forget the fruit platter for dessert.

This is a Nabe set. A Japanese hot pot with a variety of greens in it and then you put the beef into the soup to let it cook and you just eat it from the pot! (this set is for one person, after all)

Meatballs + sliced pork with raw egg spread all over it, and get it sizzled on a hot pan. S.I.M.P.L.E & D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S, not?

If you haven't know, this one here is a plate of sushi with prawn, egg, & cucumber rolled with sushi rice + vinegar, and fish roe on top & mayonnaise at the bottom. Dip it in a mixture of soy sauce and wasabi to make it hot and delicious.

It was still early after dinner (about 10pm), so we decided to head downstairs and hang around in a bistro & pub, drinking beer and catching up with others. Then, past 12am, my face all red after drinking beer, so decided to order coffee to drink and cool down. My face may be very red but I'm certain that I'm not drunk. (Though drunk people always say that they're not drunk). Then my friend told me that she got drunk and vomited in a nearby fountain. It was damn embarrassing since there were a lot of passers by. I could imagine that as well.. gross.

After 1am, my face finally gone back to a normal color and we decided to head back home (since one of them had to work during the next/this morning).

It was also decided that we'll hang out again next week. To drink beer again, & I was like OMGawd. I don't really want my face to turn all red again (>.<)

Well, guess that's all for an update today. See you.
